Welcome to Atlantic Coast Lifeguards

We offer professional courses in Lifeguarding, Lifesaving, AED & First Aid in Ireland.

Our courses are designed and assessed to the highest standards by the relevant governing bodies, leading to internationally recognised qualifications that will allow you to work worldwide as a lifeguard.

Training and assessment is provided for the following qualifications:

The NVBLQ is the National and Internationally recognised qualification required for you to work as a beach Lifeguard. It has been recognised as the go to qualification by the RNLI and the RLSS. The course runs over 6 days, and you must be over 16 years of age to attend.
The NPLQ is the National and Internationally recognised qualification required for you to work at a swimming pool. The course runs over 5 days, and you must be over 16 years of age to attend.
Automated External Defibrilator Training is an essential part of every First Aid course, and Lifesaving Certification.
The Emergency Response Certificate, and the Emergency Response Activity Supervisor training and assesment programmes, are designed to support safer swimming at small, shallow pools such as those typically found at many hotels, leisure clubs, holiday parks & private fitness. Also to support safer activities at outdoor water parks and adventure centres such as kayaking, pier jumping & coasteering.
