Atlantic coast lifeguards are delighted to announce a new course for the leisure/adventure industry!
We have joined in partnership with Swilly group https://www.swillygroup.com who are a leading training course provider and also TurfnSurf https://www.turfnsurf.ie who are one of the top surf schools in the country to bring you this newly designed course.
The course will cover the following core elements:
- ISA Surf Coach Level 1
- Occupational First Aid
- Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard
- Royal Life Saving Beach Lifeguard
- Swimming Pool Plant Course
- Child Protection and Code Of Ethics
- Driver CPC Card
- Minibus Licence (category D1)The learners will complete 10 weeks of work placement in a
Surf School, Adventure Centre, Leisure Centre or Public Amenities Centre where they will gain experience as a Surf Instructor or Lifeguard. They will also experience the day to day operations and work environment within such an organisation.
