Waterford county council Beach lifeguard applications 2013

Beach Life Guard for the 2013 Bathing Season.
Applicants shall be not less than 17 years of age on 6th April 2013 and hold a current Irish Water Safety National Beach Life Guard Award or RLSS or equivalent as recognised by the ILS (International Lifesaving Federation).

All candidates will be required to undergo a practical water and theory test conduced by Examiners nominated by Irish Water Safety on Saturday 6th April 2013, at Waterford Crystal Sports Centre.

Garda Vetting Process will be carried out in respect of all applicants and the Garda Vetting Form must be completed by every candidate.  Parent/Guardian consent form should only be completed in respect of candidates under the age of 18.

The green room surf school lahinch who have been in operation for 12 years will require Surf Coaches for the up and coming season.

Any one wishing for a position this summer must have a current ISA instructor card. they must optain this card before we can offer a position. They welcome cvs from anyone who is interested as early as possible even if they are currently doing the courses as we will have to get garda vetting forms off asap to the ISA if they have not been completed as the ISA will not issue cards untill this form has been recd/processed.
